Choose between a small-group session, or private virtual visit. Each session includes a guided tour of the facility, an introduction to the midwives, and time for open discussion and personalized questions.
Small -group sessions are held in groups of approximately six families, while the Private virtual visits are held via Google MEETS. Consultations provide a relaxed setting to learn about the key differences between birth center care, home birth, and hospital birth. Important topics such as emergency protocols, financial planning, water birth, standard laboratory screenings, and the model of care are all addressed in detail.
Each family will also have the opportunity for a brief, one-on-one conversation with a midwife to review individual health history and determine eligibility for care during the small-group sessions.
